NICK REED GONE?
"defensive tight end".  That's actually quite funny.

If the worst should happen.
Apparently I also refuse to spell "speculate" properly.

You let him go because you then sign Raheem Brock, who has proven himself against NFL starters.

Who here is against Tebow being drafted by the Seahawks? Personally, he is a "risk" worth taking in my opinion.

Add my name in the "against" column.

Unless he is there in the 4th round, then maybe.
Naw, not even then.

I have my doubts about him and would like to draft a different QB in the first round.

Like Zorn said ,he's got heart.I think the Seahawks will pass on him ,but I steal think the jags pick him in the first and they won't be sorry.

There have been a lot of poor players in the NFL.
One of the best things youcan say about many of them is "they have heart".
It means they have guts, but no glory.

I too am against drafting Sanchez in the first round. He will amount to nothing, as you will soon see (oh wait .). If we don't get a quarterback this year we are done. It is not a question of "if" Matt will be out for several games, but one of "how many" and how we deal with that is critical. We need a QB. Assume at best Matt misses only 3 games. I don't mean to be a downer but I see Matt going out with a serious injury this year, for more than half the season. I also see Tebow in the playoffs. One or the other will happen.

if not a QB for the future what position would you draft?

For me we should be drafting a QB who will sit behind Matt for a year to learn the systems and be bedded in slowly.

You can't look at things in a vacuum.
Sanchez had the benefit of being on a better team than ours to compensate for his poor performance.
Had we drafted him he would've spent most of his time on his back.
He certainly wouldn't be in the playoffs.
And people would have been crying "why'd we draft this guy?!".
Tebow in the playoffs?
Only if he is fortunate to get on a team that is going to be there despite him.
He could easily be the reason a team misses the playoffs.
