I'd rather see us keep our first rounds to pick fresh blood or for alot better trade,like Gaithers from the ravens.Marshall is going to stay a bronco,I think.but we would still have our 14th for a S/cb or DT.Possibly the rams cb for the 14th.The money would probably be about the same maybe even cheaper,then those 2 picks.But would rather have the dt at 14.P/u a s/cb at 40,trade this years 4th and next years 4th for Kolb? Cleveland (fans) despised DA because he kept their prodigy son BQ from the game. There were a lot of overall factors reflective of the general opinion of DA in the NFL. Many outside his control that do not show up in the stats such as dropped balls, throwing under constant pressure, penalties that nullified completions, etc. There are also some bonehead things DA did. Those first round picks are way too expensive for an unproven QB. Kolb has had so little experience it wouldn't make much sense to use first round pick.

With so many good players entering the 2010 draft it seems better to draft top prospects at #6, #14 and #40. I only saw Kolb play a little bit, but he did appear to be pretty good. Anderson did have a lot of wide out drops in Cleveland. Some can be attributed however to his lack of accuracy. Most can definately be blamed on recievers. I wouldn't mind seeing him come off the bench. I wish this Brandon Marshal talk would go away. On the field, he would be an incredible asset to our team, I don't discount that. Problems are we would have to give up a number one draft pick for him. He gets in trouble again and he is suspended. Nice way to spend a number one draft pick, we have so many needs, taking a risk on a player that could be suspended because he is a known basket case doesnt make sense to me. How many of his passes were attributed to drops?

I thought it was more than half at the beginning
of the 2009 season. That kills a QBs confidence.

I don't have the details, but ESPN is reporting that Merlin Olson has died at the age of 69.

To my regret, I didn't get to see a lot of Ram's games while MO was playing.

I do believe he was a great human being and, not only the sports world, but the entire world will feel this loss.
